Inspired Artist
For this project I chose the work of Yang Minha. He makes large light tunnels made of rotating square panels. This piece is titled Accumulation and is located in the main gate of Le Méridien Seoul in South Korea. The rotating square panels that display an ongoing sequence of 6 geometric patterns based on six concepts: rise, flow, accumulation, dimension, light, and overlap.
This piece drew my interest because I find patterns very cool and interesting to look at and follow and this is a pretty much a giant pattern. I really like how precise every square is and how it all comes together when looking at it at a specific angle.
